Life Groups

At Newfound, we take the commission from Jesus to make disciples seriously. Our goal is not just attendance to a meeting, but a transformation of our lives as we follow the teachings of Jesus. We believe discipleship is lived out in the community as seen in Acts 2:42-47:

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.  And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those were were being saved.”

True discipleship involves more than learning; it means living a life marked by obedience to the way of life set forth in Scripture. The model of the early church in the New Testament demonstrates this small group community and Newfound lives out small group community through our LIFE GROUPS.

A LIFE GROUP is a small group of individuals ranging from 7-14 people that meet on a regular basis.  They devote themselves to regular times of studying God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, and community outreach. The essential components a LIFE GROUP are:

  • Loving God as we learn and obey
  • Loving each other as Jesus loved us
  • Loving the World through missions and outreach

We want every member of our church to have this small community place in which to grow and follow Jesus.  Please check out one or more of our established LIFE GROUPS from the list below:
